Ice Hockey Earns Two All-Conference Accolades

Halpin and Wysocki named to All-Conference second team

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Senior defenseman Craig Halpin and senior goaltender Ryan Wysocki were named to the 2014-15 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Conference Second Team as announced by the league office on Monday.

Halpin earns his second consecutive All-Conference honor. On the season, the senior captain appeared in all 26 games for the Green and Gold from the blue line. Craig added to the offensive mix as well, , ranking fourth on the team in scoring with 17 points on two markers and a team-best 15 helpers.

Between the pipes, Wysocki posted a career best 802 saves, while ranking third in the conference with a 2.80 goals against average as well as ranking first in the MASCAC with a .925 save percentage in 24 contests for the Falcons to collect his first All-Conference nomination.

The Fitchburg State ice hockey team concluded the 2014-15 campaign with an overall record of 10-13-3 and an 8-8-2 clip within conference play.
