Snyder Tabbed Hero Sports D3 Men’s Hockey Hero of the Week
Shawnee, Kan. native collects second weekly accolade of the season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State junior forward Cameron Snyder was recently named Hero Sports D3 Men's Hockey Hero of the Week as announced by herosports.com on Thursday afternoon.
The third year Falcon totaled six points on two markers and four assists in a 10-4 victory over MASCAC rival Westfield State University on Thursday, January 14th. For his efforts, Snyder was named D3 Hero Sports Men's Hockey Hero of the Week after claiming 51.05 percent of the vote.
On the season, Snyder currently ranks sixth on the team with 13 points on five tallies and eight helpers, while appearing in 16 of the Green and Gold's 18 contests thus far.
Fitchburg State (7-10-1, 4-6-1 MASCAC) returns to action this evening as it travels to UMass Dartmouth to take on the Corsairs at 7:30 p.m.
