Hillick Selected MASCAC Ice Hockey Rookie of the Week
Byfield, Mass. native collects first weekly honor of the season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman forward Kyle Hillick was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Ice Hockey Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Hillick totaled three points on two goals scored and one assist in a 2-0 week for the Green and Gold. The first-year Falcon netted one score and an assist in Fitchburg State's 4-0 shutout win over Framingham State on Thursday before adding one marker in a 3-2 triumph against Westfield State on Saturday evening.
The Fitchburg State ice hockey team (10-10-1, 7-6-1 MASCAC) returns to action on Thursday as it hosts the Lancers of Worcester State University for a contest starting at 7 p.m.
