Krikorian Tabbed MASCAC Player and Rookie Of The Week
Groton, Mass. native earns first two weekly accolades of the season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Freshman forward Matthew Krikorian was recently named both Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Player and Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
The first-year Falcons collects his first two weekly honors of the season after totaling six points on three goals scored in a 1-1 week for the Green and Gold. Krikorian netted a pair of markers in a 3-2 overtime setback to Clark University on Wednesday before adding one goal in a 2-1 win over Bridgewater State on Friday evening.
The Fitchburg State men's soccer team (3-9-1, 1-4-0 MASCAC) will host the Engineers of WPI on Wednesday for a contest starting at 4 p.m.
