Brassard Selected MASCAC Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week

Leominster, Mass. native collects first weekly honor of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass.– Freshman defender Nolan Brassard was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.

The first year Falcon earns his first weekly honor on the year afternoon registering his first collegiate marker with the game-winning goal in Fitchburg State's 2-1 win over the Trailblazers of MCLA on Saturday afternoon.

The Fitchburg State men's soccer team (4-10-1, 2-4-0 MASCAC) returns to action on Tuesday as it hosts the Pride of Springfield College for a contest starting at 7 p.m.
