Krikorian Tabbed ECAC DIII and MASCAC Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week
Groton, Mass. native collects thrid weekly honor of the season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman forward Matthew Krikorian was recently named both Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) and Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference offices earlier this week.
Krikorian picks up his third weekly accolade of the year after posting six points on three goals scored in a 1-1 week for the Falcons. The first-year Falcon netted one marker in a 2-1 setback to Springfield College on Tuesday before adding a pair of scores in a 2-0 triumph over Salem State on Saturday.
The Fitchburg State men's soccer team (5-11-1, 3-4-0 MASCAC) returns to action on Tuesday at it travels to Framingham State University for a MASCAC quarterfinal round matchup, starting at 4 p.m.
