Hosey to Take the Helm of Men’s Soccer

Fitchburg, Mass. - Fitchburg State University Senior Director of Athletics and Recreation Matthew Burke has announced the hiring of Brad Hosey as the next head men's soccer coach. Hosey joins the Falcons staff after serving as the head coach of Becker College.

"We are excited to have Hosey join the Falcons staff." Said Burke "His coaching background and soccer perspective will help establish a new foundation for the soccer program and propel Fitchburg State to the next level.  We look forward to Coach Hosey building a team that will perform both academically and athletically to high standards."

Hosey brings over seven years of coaching experience with him. He spent the last two years at the helm at Becker College where he was responsible for all aspects of the Hawks program including recruiting, training, and academic monitoring of the student-athletes.

"I would like to thank AD Matthew Burke for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the Fitchburg State community." Said Hosey "I look forward to and incredible journey to build a strong team culture both on and off the pitch within the men's soccer program."

Prior to Becker, Hosey spent two years in the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) as an assistant coach at Salem State University as well as stops at Daniel Webster College and Rivier University.

Hosey graduated from Daniel Webster College with a degree in Business Management and is currently working on his master's degree In Leadership at Southern New Hampshire University.
