Foster and Fialho notch first collegiate goals for Green and Gold
Fitchburg, MA – The Fitchburg State University Men's Soccer Team defeated the Buccaneers of Mass. Maritime Academy, 3-0 in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action this evening from Elliot Field.

How It Happened
Fitchburg State opened the scoring at the 10:59 mark of the first half when senior Francesco Campione (Newton, MA) blasted a shot into the upper left corner for his second marker of the season for the 1-0 margin.
Fitchburg State doubled the lead in the 45th minute of action as senior Zachariah Foster (Brockton, MA) was awarded a penalty kick and proceeded to blast a shot into the left side of the net for his first collegiate tally to make the score 2-0 going into the break.
Following the intermission, Fitchburg State pushed the lead to 3-0 at the 77:05 mark with sophomore Kaio Fialho (Worcester, MA) firing a shot from 20 yards out into the upper left corner for his first collegiate marker.
