Men's Soccer Draws Even With MCLA

NORTH ADAMS, MA: Fitchburg State men's soccer tied with MCLA this evening in conference action.  

THE BASICS:

- Score: Fitchburg 1, MCLA 1

- Records: Fitchburg (4-9-3, 1-3-2 MASCAC), MCLA (5-6-2, 1-3-2 MASCAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Trailblazers struck first just nine minutes into the contest. Marcos Lope found the back of the net for MCLA, marking his third goal of the season.

- The Falcons would knot it up in the 27^th minute. Jorge Alverez (Romulus, MI) netted his first goal of the season to get the 1-1 final.

- Luke Speers (Collegeville, PA) saw four shots on goal in net this evening, making three saves. Oliver Le Lacheur had a solid game in net after making seven saves on eight shots.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Shots: Fitchburg 21, MCLA 8
