High School: 2008 graduate of Morse High School. Lettered in cross country, indoor track, outdoor track and basketball. Named to the All-Conference first team in cross country and track.

Personal: Born October 19, 1989 in Bath, Maine. Son of Charles and Beth Saufler. Graduated from Fitchburg State with a Bachlors of Science Degree in Exercise and Sports Science in 2012. Named MASCAC Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year. Awarded the Leadershop in Exercise Science Award. Member of the Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities. Also a four year member of the Fitchburg State men's cross country team.
