Kibler Named MASCAC Men’s Indoor Track Co-Athlete Of The Week

Bath, Maine native earns sixth weekly accolade of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. (March 11, 2014) – Graduate student Chris Kibler (Bath, Maine) was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men’s Indoor Track Co-Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Kibler collects his sixth weekly honor of the season after earning top honor in the mile with time of 4:16.33 to pave the way for the Fitchburg State men’s indoor track & field team at the 2014 ECAC DIII Championships hosted by Northeastern University over the weekend. With his time in the mile (4:07.29), Chris currently ranks eighth in the country among all Division three schools and has qualified for the NCAA DIII Championships hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan University on March 14th and 15th.

The Fitchburg State men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams concluded their 2013-14 campaign at the 2014 ECAC DIII Championships hosted by Northeastern University this past weekend.
