Monette Named MASCAC Field Athlete Of The Week

Winchendon, Mass. native notches first weekly honor on the year 

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior Cameron Monette (Winchendon, MA) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Track Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

The fourth-year Falcon collected his first weekly accolade of the 2024-25 campaign after finishing first overall in the weight throw with a DIII  New England qualifying toss of 15.97 meters for the Green and Gold at the 2024 Mini Meet, hosted by Boston University on Saturday.

The Fitchburg State Men's Indoor Track & Field team returns to action on Saturday, January 11th as they compete at the 2025 Suffolk Ice Breaker Invitational, starting at 10:00AM.
