Sattiewhite Selected MASCAC And ECAC DIII NE Outdoor Track Rookie Of The Week
Salem, Mass. native collects seventh weekly honor of the season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Freshman Ben Sattiewhite was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) as well as ECAC DIII New England Men's Outdoor Track Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office earlier this week.
Sattiewhite earns his second consecutive and seventh overall weekly accolade of the season after earning top honors in the high jump with a an ECAC qualifying jump of 1.93 meters for the Green and Gold as the Falcons hosted the 2015 Jim Sheehan Memorial Meet at Elliot Field on Saturday.
The Fitchburg State men's and women's outdoor track team return to action this weekend as they compete 2015 Wildcat Invitational hosted by the University of New Hampshire, starting at 10 a.m.
