Sattiewhite Tabbed MASCAC and ECAC DIII NE Men’s Outdoor Track Rookie of the Week
Salem, Mass. native collects eighth weekly accolade of the season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Freshman Ben Sattiewhite was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) as well as ECAC DIII New England Men's Outdoor Track Rookie of the Week as announced by the league offices earlier this week.
The first-year Falcon collects his eighth weekly honor of the season after placing third overall in the high jump to earn All-New England honors with an ECAC qualifying mark of 1.93 meters to the lead the way for the Fitchburg State men's outdoor track team at the 2015 DIII New England Championships, hosted by MIT over the weekend.
Select members of the Fitchburg State men's and women's outdoor track teams return to action as they complete at the 2015 Open New England Championships, hosted by MIT, starting on Thursday at 4 p.m.
