Stalters Named as MASCAC and ECAC DIII NE Rookie of the Week

WESTFIELD, Mass. - Fitchburg State University freshman Cameron Stalters (Norton, Mass.) has been named asboth  the Massachusetts Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) and Corvias Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) DIII NE Men's Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week for the period ending on April 3rd.

Stalters took top honors in the 110m hurdles with an ECAC qualifying time of 15.72 seconds, while adding a second place effort in the javelin with an ECAC qualifying throw of 53.49m (175' 6") at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Invite.

The Falcons' men's outdoor track and field team resumes competition this Saturday at Smith College.
