Stalters Earns MASCAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week Honors

WESTFIELD, Mass. - Fitchburg State freshman Cameron Stalters (Norton, Mass.) has earned Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week honors for the period ending on April 24th. This marks the third time during the month of April that Stalters has earned this award.

Stalters placed first in the javelin with a throw of 58.37m (191' 6"), and first in the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 16.09 at Wesleyan University's J. Elmer Swanson Classic T&F Invitational last Saturday. He also finished 7th in the discus (31.59m/ 103' 8").

The Falcons' men's outdoor track and field team will be competing at the MASCAC/Alliance Championships this Saturday, April 30th, hosted by UMass Dartmouth.
