Stalters Competes At NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field National Championships

Norton, Mass. native places 20th overall in the javelin 

Waverly, Iowa – Freshman Cameron Stalters competed at the 2016 NCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships at Walston-Hoover Stadium on the campus of Wartburg College.

At the 2016 NCAA DIII National Championships, the first year Falcon finished 20th overall in the javelin with mark of 54.40 meters. Stalters entered the javelin ranked 16tth in the nation after securing his spot in the 2016 National Championships with a first place toss of 60.00 meters at the 2016 Eric Loeschner Memorial Invite, hosted by Fitchburg State University in mid-April.

The Fitchburg State men's and women's outdoor track and field teams concluded its 2016 season last week, competing in the 2016 ECAC DIII Championships, hosted by Westfield State University.
