Falcons Shine At ECAC DIII Championships
Sattiewhite places eight overall in the high jump with mark of 1.94 meters
WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Fitchburg State men's outdoor track & field team competed in the 2017 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Westfield State University on Wednesday and Thursday.
Senior Ben Sattiewhite paced the Green and Gold, placing eighth overall in the high jump with a mark of 1.94 meters, while classmate Nicholas Levenson added a solid time of 59.53 seconds in the 400 meter hurdles with an 11th place finish.
The Fitchburg State men's outdoor track team returns to action next week as select members compete in the 2017 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, hosted by the Spire Institute in Geveva, Ohio, starting on Thursday, May 25th.
