Manyok Tabbed MOTK Track Athlete of the Week

Lynn, Mass. native collects second weekly honor of the year 

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State junior Taban Manyok (Lynn, Mass.) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

The third-year Falcon earns his second weekly accolade on the season after placing fifth overall in the 1500 meter with a personal best and DIII New England qualifying time of 3:58.02, while adding a 12th place effort in the 10,000 meter with a PR and All-NE qualifying time of 32:02.73 for the Green and Gold at the 2023 Silfen Invitational, hosted by Connecticut College this past weekend.

The Fitchburg State Men's Outdoor Track and Field team returns to action on Saturday as they compete at the 2023 Shane Collier Invitational, hosted by MIT.
