Boston, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University men's cross country team placed 7th overall at the 2021 Suffolk Short Course Classic with a total of 235 points at Franklin Park in Boston.

How It Happened
Senior Trevor Fields (Shirley, Mass.) led the way for Fitchburg State with a 38th place time of 18:07.2, while junior Matthew Catarius (Shrewsbury, Mass.) added a time of 18:38.9 over the 5K layout after placing 55th overall.
Junior Cameron Davis (Gardner (Mass.) (66th) followed into the chute with a time of 18:54.3, while newcomer Aidan Cattelan (West Hartford, Conn) crossed the finish line at 19:01.7. Rounding out the top five efforts on the day for the Green and Gold was junior Samuel Flint (Methuen, Mass.) with a solid time of 19:09.0.
