Manyok Collects Pair Of MASCAC MXC Weekly Awards

Lynn, Mass. native nets third consecutive weekly honors of the season

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State sophomore Taban Manyok (Lynn, Mass.) was recently named both Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Cross Country Runner & Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday for the third straight week.

The first-year Falcon finished 32nd overall of 153 runners with a time of 27:35.9 over the 8K course to help lead the Green and Gold to a ninth place finish at the 2021 Purple Valley Invitational on Saturday, hosted by Williams College.

The Fitchburg State Men's Cross Country team returns to action this Saturday as they compete at the 2021 Keene State Invitational, starting at 10:30 AM
