Men's Cross Country Races to a Third Place Finish at Wesleyan Cardinal Invite
Lancaster posts 25th place time of 21:44.83 to pace Green and Gold
Middletown, Conn. – The Fitchburg State University men's cross country team placed third overall with a total of 96 points at the 2023 Wesleyan Cardinal Invitational at the Wes Fuhrman Cross Country Trails.

How It Happened
Freshman Joshua Lancaster (Holden, MA.) paced the Green and Gold, finishing 25th overall with a time of 21:43.83 over the 6K layout, while junior Cristian Bueno Campos (Lawrence, MA) posted a 29th place time of 22:30.97.
Senior Andrew Bedard (Rutland, MA) entered the chute with a solid time of 23:10.05, while graduate student Cameron Davis (Gardner, MA) followed with a time of 23:16.94.
Freshman Casey LaCombe (South Hadley, MA) was next for the Falcons with a time of 23:24.34, while senior Tyssen LaBombard (Shelburne Falls, MA) crossed the finish line at 23:45.23. Senior Elijah Stathis Northampton (MA) closed out the top efforts for the Green and Gold on the day with a time of 24:12.80.
