Dartmouth, MA. – The Fitchburg State University men's cross country team placed 30th overall with a total of 839 points at the 2023 UMass Dartmouth Invitational at the Robert Dowd Cross Country Course.

How It Happened
Sophomore Michael Burns (Worcester, MA) led the way for the Falcons, posting a time of 27:24.19 over the 8K course, while freshman Joshua Lancaster (Holden, MA.) followed with a time of 28:37.88.
Junior Cristian Bueno Campos (Lawrence, MA) crossed the finish line at 29:20.69, while graduate student Cameron Davis (Gardner, MA) notched a time of 30:16.67.
Senior Tyssen LaBombard (Shelburne Falls, MA) entered the chute at 30:25.13, while sophomore Omar Elmi (Worcester, MA) was next for the Green and Gold with a time of 30:29.64. Sophomore Elijah Stathis (North Hampton, MA) rounded out the top efforts for the Falcons with a time of 30:35.86.
