Junior guard Katie Stopera contributed a double-double with a game-high 27 points on 7-17 shooting with 11 boards. Junior forward Breeana Williams scored nine points with seven rebounds, while junior guard Deanna Barrett came off the pine to score nine points.

The teams alternated possession for the majority of the first stanza, until Enright knocked down a free throw to give the Falcons a 46-38 lead. Enright and Wodzinski then contributed a trio of layups to go on a 4-0 run with 6:57 remaining in regulation. Stopera and Williams rallied with two good free throws apiece, and used a Barrett jumper to slice the score 54-46 with 3:30 left in the second stanza. Barrett contributed to the Lasers' 14 points off the couch, outscoring the Falcons' bench by eight points.

With 22 seconds on the clock, Wodzinski drained a crucial three-pointer to put the visitors on top 63-58. Williams then took the ball to the hoop after an offensive rebound, to trail the Green and Gold by just three points.

Lasell put forth a valiant defensive effort, registering 44 rebounds and 10 steals. However, the Falcons' 26-53 shooting (41.3%) steered Fitchburg to a final score of 63-60.
