Falcons Fall to Bears of Bridgewater State in MASCAC Play
Fitchburg, Mass. - The Fitchburg State Women's Basketball team fell to the Bears of Bridgewater State, 102-67 this evening in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action from the Parkinson Gymnasium.

How It Happened
1st quarter
Bridgewater State raced out to a 9-3 margin on five points from sophomore Olivia Dziadyk (Wakefield, Mass.) and a pair of buckets from junior Destiny Fitzgerald (Medford, Mass.). The Falcons cut the deficit to 16-13 with a three-point play from senior Catherine Coppinger (Boston, Mass.) however the Bears closed out the first frame with an 8-2 run to lead 24-15.
2nd quarter
Junior Payton Holmes (Carver, Mass.) drained a trey with eight minutes to play to chip the Bears lead to 26-20. The Bears extended their advantage (42-25) with four straight points from Dziadyk.
