Women's Basketball Cruises Past Bulldogs

FITCHBURG, MA: Fitchburg State women's basketball took down the Bulldogs of Dean College this evening in non-conference action.

THE BASICS:

- Records: Fitchburg (2-4), Dean (1-5)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Falcons quickly gained the upper hand in this one and never looked back. Fitchburg worked the ball around, allowing ten Falcons to score this evening. Leading the way was Rylie Harlow (Hanson, MA), who had 13 points to go with her five assists and four rebounds. Aliza Som (Lowell, MA) finished just behind her with ten points. Caileen Hurley (Whitman, MA) topped all tonight on the boards, finishing with nine rebounds.  

- The Bulldogs were paced by Abi Boutin, who scored 11 points, shooting 4-15 from the field and 3-7 from behind the three-point line. Kendrah Doane topped the team in rebounds with six and assists with four.  

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Shooting %: Fitchburg 40.3%, 3-PT 25.9%, FT 33.3%. Dean 24.1%, 3-PT 18.8%, FT 56.3%

-  Rebounds: Fitchburg 52, Dean 36
