Women's Basketball Downed by Bears in Conference Action
BRIDGEWATER, MA: Fitchburg State women's basketball fell this afternoon to MASCAC opponent Bridgewater State.

- Records: Bridgewater (14-10, 10-1 MASCAC), Fitchburg (5-18, 2-8 MASCAC)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bears topped the Falcons in every quarter. They got out to a quick start, going up 27-9 after one. Bridgewater's success was due to four scoring double-digits. Sydney Bradbury led the way with a game-high 18 points. Sophia Goucher dropped 15 as well, including 14 rebounds for the double-double. Kylie Grassi also contributed 14 points in the win. Rounding out the top scorers for the Bears is Emily Quinn, who had 13 points while coming off the bench.
- The Falcons were led by Rylie Harlow (Hanson, MA) and Mikayler Patch (N. Attleboro, MA). Harlow had the team-high with 12 points and six rebounds. Patch followed just behind her with ten points and another five boards.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Shooting: Bridgewater shot 45.3% from the floor, 28.6% from three, and 70.4% from the line. Fitchburg was 28.4% from the floor, 10.5% from three, and 52.4% from the line.
- Rebounds: Bridgewater 55, Fitchburg 44
- Assists: Bridgewater 27, Fitchburg 9
