How It Happened
The Blue Jays scored the lone goal of the game on a set corner play. Senior Ali O'Neil (Litchfield, Conn.) found first year Gabriella Gulino (Wethersfield, Conn.) at the front post for the tip past Falcons goaltender Allison Gough (Wolcott, Conn.) for the 1-0 advantage.
Fitchburg State saw quality chances in the first half with two corners and three shots on goal but were stymied by the visiting defense in the second half.
