Bio

James C. David enters his second season as an assistant coach for the Fitchburg State women’s soccer program.

David, a three-year member of the Fitchburg State men’s soccer team, concluded his career with 42 games played for the Green and Gold.

During his time as a member of the Fitchburg State  men’s soccer team, David used his spare time helping the youth of Fitchburg learn to love and excel at the game of soccer as a coach to numerous Fitchburg Youth Soccer programs, coaching three different teams; U14, U16, and U18.

Prior to joining the Falcons men’s team in 2011, James was as a member of Haverhill High School’s Boys Soccer team that competed in the Merrimack Valley Conference (MVC), while also playing club soccer for the New England Aztecs.

In 2014 David joined Massachusetts Youth Soccer GOALS summer program as a coach to children in the surrounding inner city areas as well as participating in the GOALS program in 2015.

In 2014, James accepted a coaching job at Fitchburg High School, coaching the junior varsitsy boys’ team, while also assisting the varsity team during his time there until accepting a coaching position at Fitchburg State. During his time there David aided in the rebuilding stages for the program leaving on a winning season for the first time in years, and an entry to the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) State Tournament.

David is a graduate of Fitchburg State University with a Political Science Concentration and a minor in Philosophy. He currently works for Pusateri & Wilson, P.C. located in Fitchburg Massachusetts.
