Woolley Selected MASCAC Track Athlete Of The Week
Malden, Mass. native collects first weekly honor of the season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Freshman Annie Woolley was recently named both Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Indoor Track Athlete and Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Woolley earns her first weekly accolade of the season after earning top honors in the 60 meter hurdles with a an ECAC qualifying time of 9.34 seconds for the Green and Gold at the 2015 MASCAC/New England Alliance Championship Meet hosted by Rhode Island College on Saturday.
The Fitchburg State men's and women's indoor track team return to action this weekend as they compete 2015 DIII New England Championships with the men's competing at Springfield College and the Women visiting Smith College for meets starting at 10 a.m.
