Woolley Selected MASCAC Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week

Malden, Mass. native collects first weekly accolade of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Sophomore Annie Woolley was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

The second-year Falcon collects her first weekly honor of the season after placing third overall in the 60 meter hurdles with a MASCAC, DIII NE and ECAC qualifying time of 9.38 seconds, while adding a fourth place effort in the 200m with a post-season qualifying time of 27.44 seconds as well as turning in a MASCAC qualifying time of 8.57 seconds in the 60 meter with an 18th place effort at the 2016 Tufts Stampede on Saturday afternoon.

The Fitchburg State men's and women's indoor track teams return to action on Saturday as they complete in the 2016 Wesleyan Indoor Invitational II, starting at 10 a.m.
