Woolley Tabbed MASCAC Women’s Indoor Track Athlete Of The Week
Malden, Mass. native collects second weekly accolade of the year
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Junior Annie Woolley was named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.
Woolley registers her second straight weekly honor on the season after taking top honors in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.82 seconds to set a new school record in the process for the Falcons at the 2017 Tuft Final Qualifying Meet on Saturday afternoon. With that time, Annie currently ranks fifth nationally in the 60 meter hurdles.
The Fitchburg State women's indoor track team returns to action this weekend as select members compete in the 2016-17 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championships, hosted by North Central College in Naperville, Ill., starting on Friday at 10 AM.\
