Woolley Competes At NCAA DIII Indoor Championships

Malden, Mass. native places 12th overall in 60 meter hurdles 

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Junior Annie Woolley competed at the 2017 Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Al B. Carius Track in Naperville, Ill. hosted by North Central College on Friday and Saturday. 

At the 2017 NCAA DIII Indoor National Championships, the third-year Falcon finished 12thh overall in the 60 meter hurdles with a solid time of 8.99 seconds. Woolley entered the NCAA Division III Championships ranked fifth in the nation In the 60 meter hurdles after setting a new school record in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.82 seconds with a first place finish at the Tufts Final Qualifying Meet in early March to qualify for the 2017 NCAA DIII Indoor Track & Field Championships.

The Fitchburg State men's and women's indoor track and field teams concluded their seasons last weekend as members of the squads competed at the Tufts Final Qualifying Meet at the Gantchner Center.
