Woolley Tabbed MASCAC Women’s Indoor Track Athlete Of The Week

Malden, Mass. native collects fifth weekly honor of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Senior Annie Woolley (Malden, Mass.) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Woolley earns her fifth weekly accolade on the year after taking top honors in the 60 meter hurdles with a new PR time of 8.68 seconds at the 2018 Tufts Last Chance National Qualifying Meet on Saturday at the Gantcher Center. With that time, Annie currently ranks first nationally in the event to qualify for the NCAA DIII Indoor Track National Championships.

The Fitchburg State women's indoor track team returns to action this weekend as select members compete in the 2018 NCAA DIII Indoor Track & Field National Championships, hosted by Birmingham Southern University, starting on Friday, March 9th at 11:00 AM.
