Murphy, Burnett, Goba and McAndrew run fourth fastest time in school history

Boston, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University women's outdoor track & field team competed at the 2023 All-New England Championships this afternoon at the New Balance Track.

How It Happened

The Distance Medley Relay team of seniors, Abigail Murphy (Quincy, Mass.), Lilah McAndrew (Ole Lyme, Conn,), Maria Burnett (Fitchburg, Mass.) and freshman Skye Goba (Norton, Mass.) placed tenth overall with a time of 13:17.23.

With that time, the Falcons ran the fourth fastest time his school history with Goba running the mile, Murphy in the 1200 meter leg, Burnett the 800 meter and McAndrew handling the 400 meter leg at the meet.
