Phelps Earns MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track Rookie Of The Week
Ashford, Mass. native collects second weekly honor of the season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Freshman Jenna Phelps was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Outdoor Track Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Phelps collects her second weekly honor of the season after placing fourth overall in the 400 meter hurdles with a DIII New England qualifying time of 1:08.24 for the Falcons as Fitchburg State hosted the 2015 Eric Loeschner Memorial Meet on Saturday at Elliot Field.
The Fitchburg State men's and women's outdoor track teams return to action on Saturday as it competes in the 2015 MASCAC/Alliance Championship Meet hosted by Fitchburg State University, starting at 10 a.m.
