Woolley Selected MASCAC Track Athlete of the Week Honors

Malden, Mass. native collects second weekly honor of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Sophomore Annie Woolley recently earned Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCASC) Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Woolley earns her second weekly accolade of the season after placing second overall in the 100 meter hurdles with an Open New England qualifying time of 14.56 seconds to earn All DIII New England honors at the 2016 DIII New England Championships, hosted by Springfield College this past weekend. With her time, Annie currently ranks 23rd nationally in the event.

The Fitchburg State women's outdoor track & field team returns to action next weekend as select members compete in the 2016 Open New England Championships, hosted by Southern Connecticut State University, starting on Friday at 4 p.m.
