Falcons Battle At 2016 ECAC DIII Championships
Woolley leads the way with an eight place finish in the 100 meter hurdles
WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Fitchburg State women's outdoor track and field team completed in the 2016 ECAC DIII Championship Meet, hosted by Westfield State University at the Gravel Track on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon.
Sophomore Annie Woolley continued her stellar 2016 season, placing eighth overall in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.19 seconds, while junior Morgan Steele was also solid in the hammer throw, registering a toss of 46.37 meters with a 12th place effort.
Select members of the Fitchburg State women's track & field team await their selection into the 2016 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championships next week
