Fitchburg State Excels At DIII New England Championships

Woolley places first overall in the 100 meter hurdles with Open NE qualifying time of 14.03 seconds 

Cambridge, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University women's outdoor track and field team placed 23rd overall at the DIII New England Championships this weekend with a total of ten points, hosted by MIT at the Henry G. Steinbrenner Stadium.

Senior Annie Woolley (Malden, Mass.) continued her stellar 2018 campaign, earning All-New England honors after taking top honors in the 100 meter hurdles with an Open New England qualifying time of 14.03 seconds.

The Fitchburg State women's outdoor track and field team returns to action next weekend as select members compete at the 2018 Open New England Championships, hosted by Dartmouth College, starting on Friday, May 11th at 2:00 PM.
