Woolley Garners All-American Accolades At NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field National Championships

Malden, Mass. native finishes third overall in 100 meters hurdles with a time of 14.16 seconds  

La Crosse, Wis. – Fitchburg State senior Annie Woolley (Malden, Mass.) earned All-American honors this afternoon at the 2018 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, after placing third overall in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.16 seconds at the Veteran's Memorial Sports Complex on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Woolley entered the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships ranked first in the country in the 100 meter hurdles after qualifying for the 2018 National Championships with a first place finish in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.03 seconds at the 2018 DIII New England Championships, hosted by MIT earlier this month.

The Fitchburg State women's outdoor track and field team recently concluded its 2018 season after select members competed at the 2018 DIII New England Championships, hosted by MIT on May 5th.
