Volleyball Defeats Lynx 3-0

FITCHBURG, MA: Fitchburg State volleyball took down Lesley University this evening in non-conference action.

THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Falcons served very well tonight, racking up 33 service aces against the Lynx. Abigail DeAngelis (Danvers, MA) finished with a team high four kills to accompany her four aces. Sydney Nortelus (Cambridge, MA) tied the most aces with six from her Libero position and topped all with five digs. Mia Vestal (Wilmington, MA) was in the setter position tonight for Fitchburg, dishing out eight of the team's 11 assists.  

- The Lynx struggled all around, finishing the match with a -.344 kill percentage, getting four kills on 32 attempts. Emma Welch had one kill, topping the team in hitting percentage with .000 after having three attempts and getting one error. She also had a team high three digs.
