Sardella Named To MASCAC All-Conference Second Team

Billerica, Mass. native collects second straight All-Conference Selection 

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State sophomore outside hitter Stephanie Sardella (Billerica, Mass.) was recently named to the 2023 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Volleyball All-Conference Second team as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.

Sardella earns her second straight All-Conference honor after totaling a team-best 228 kills, 256 digs, 11 assists, 41 service aces, two solo blocks, and seven blocking assists over 26 matches for the Green and Gold. In addition to her 228 kills, Stephanie set the Falcons program record for kills in a season.

The Fitchburg State women's volleyball team recently concluded their 2023 season with an overall record of 8-15 and a 2-5 clip within conference play, en-route to earning the sixth seed in the 2023 MASCAC Women's Volleyball Post-Season Tournament.
