Kelly Tabbed MASCAC Women’s Cross Country Rookie Of The Week

Stoughton, Mass. native earns second weekly honor of the season

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State junior Amy Kelly (Stoughton, Mass./Stoughton)  was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Kelly collects her second weekly accolade on the year after finishing 88th overall with a time of 20:11.0 over the 5K layout to pace the Falcons at the 2017 UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.

The Fitchburg State women's cross country returns to action on Saturday, September 23rd as it competes in the 2017 Worcester City Meet at Moore State Park in Paxton, Mass. for a meet starting at 10:45 a.m.
