Kelly Earns MASCAC Women’s Cross Country Runner Of The Week Honors

Stoughton, Mass. native receives first weekly accolade of the 2018 campaign

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior Amy Kelly (Stoughton, Mass./Stoughton) was named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

The fourth-year Falcon earns her first weekly honor of the season after taking top honors for the Green and Gold with a time of 19:15 over the 5K course as Fitchburg State hosted its annual Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational at the Doyle Conservation Center on Saturday morning.

The Fitchburg State women's cross country team returns to action this weekend as it competes at the 2018 Worcester City Meet on Saturday, September 8th for a meet starting at 10:00 AM.
