
Falcons Compete at UMass Dartmouth Invitational
North Dartmouth, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University women's cross country team placed 24th overall with a total of 640 points at the 44th annual UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational this afternoon.

How It Happened
Junior Abigail Murphy (Quincy, Mass.) paced Fitchburg State with a 74th place time of 20:15.40 over the 5K layout, while classmate Lilah McAndrew (Old Lyme, Conn,) followed with a time of 20:27.40.
Newcomers Joy Wambui (Danvers, Mass.) and Meryem Majaoudou (Ayer, Mass.) crossed the finish line with times of 21:46.20 and 22:36.10, respectively. Rounding out the top finishers for the Green and Gold were junior Erin Maida (Danbury, Conn) and junior Courtney Brouillet (Fitchburg, Mass.).
