Falcons Compete at Purple Valley Invite
Williamstown, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University women's cross country competed at the 2021 Williams College Purple Valley Invitation this morning, placing 11th overall with a total of 367 points at Mount Greylock High School.

How It Happened
The Falcons were paced by junior Abigail Murphy (Quincy, Mass.) who completed the 6k course in 27:33.4 good for 66th place overall. Classmate Lilah McAndrew (Old Lyme, Conn.) finished right behind with a time of 27:46.4.
Newcomer Joy Wambui (Danvers, Mass.) crossed at 29:25.9 and the Green and Gold rounded out their top five with junior Kaya Scarela (Fitchburg, Mass.) (36:23.1) and Courtney Brouillet (Fitchburg, Mass.) (42:07.2).
