Women’s Cross Country Competes At 2023 UMass Dartmouth Invite

Dartmouth, MA. – The Fitchburg State University women's cross country team placed 31st with a total of 936 points at the 2023 UMass Dartmouth Invitational at the Robert Dowd Cross Country Course.

How It Happened
Sophomore Skye Goba (Norton, MA) led the way for the Falcons, finishing 91st overall with a time of 19:51.44 over the 5K layout, while freshman Alexis Toste (Dracut, MA) was next for the Green and Gold with a time of 23:49.16
Newcomer Julia Arena (Shrewsbury, MA) crossed the finish line at 25:01.73, while sophomore Cassandra Israelson (Saugus, MA) entered the chute at 26:22.16.
Sophomore Shamya Boulware McKnight (Hartford, CT) rounded out the top efforts for the Green and Gold with a time of 40:05.65
