Falcons To Host 2016 Fall Softball Clinic

FITCHBURG, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University softball team will be hosting its 2016 fall softball clinic open to students in grades three through twelve on Sunday, October 16th from 12:00 .m.-2:30 p.m. at the Fitchburg State Softball Field (Coolidge Park).
Softball Teams Up With The Community

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Members of the Fitchburg State University softball team teamed up with the 21st Century After School Program at the Crocker Elementary School in Fitchburg. Senior Brianna Uga, junior Kelsea LeBlanc and freshmen Michelle LeBlanc, Michaela Keenan and Kaylee Sylvestre spoke to Crocker Elementary students about playing softball as well as about Fitchburg State University.

FITCHBURG, Mass. – The fourth seeded Falcons of Fitchburg State dropped a 5-2 decision to the fifth seeded Vikings of Salem State in opening round action of the 2016 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) softball tournament at the Donna-Lee Withington Memorial Softball Field this afternoon.

FITCHBURG, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University softball team registered a split with the Bears of Bridgewater State in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action this afternoon at the Donna-Lee Withington Memorial Softball Field. The Bears took game one, 2-0 before the Falcons rebounded with a 7-2 victory in the nightcap.
