Wallace Civic Center at Fitchburg State University

In 2006, Fitchburg State University purchased the Wallace Civic Center and began renovationing the skating rink with new locker rooms, ice surface and weight room, while also home to the Fitchburg State ice hockey team.

The Wallace Civic Center opened in 1970, due to funding from George Wallace, a Fitchburg Native. In nearly 40 years, since it's opening, the Wallace Civic Center has hosted numerous concerts, events and ice hockey games.

The Wallace Civic Center is currently managed by FMC Ice Sports, which manages mulitiple ice rinks throughout the area.
