Falcons Excel At All-New England Championships
Bourassa, Shimiyimana & Manyok earn All-NE honors
Boston, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University men's outdoor track & field team placed 22nd with a total of ten points at the 2023 All-New England Championships at the Bernard & Jolane Solomon Track, hosted by Northeastern this weekend.

Freshman Liam Bourassa (Shirley, Mass.) led the way for the Falcons, placing fourth overall in javelin with a personal best throw of 62. 61 meters, while junior Taban Manyok (Lynn, Mass.) finished sixth in the 3000 meter steeple chase with a solid time of 9:22.99.
Junior Eric Shimiyimana (Worcester, Mass.) rounded out the top efforts on the weekend for the Green and Gold, finishing seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 13.74 meters.
